1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using services provided by Fodo Capital AS ("Fodo", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services.
Fodo Capital AS is a Norwegian company located at Formannsgata 15, 4810 Eydehavn, Norway.
2. Description of Services
Fodo provides WordPress plugins and related services. We offer both free and premium versions of our plugins. Premium features require a valid license.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Licenses
Free Plugins
Free versions of our plugins are licensed under the GPL v2 or later. You may use, modify, and distribute them according to that license.
Premium Plugins
Premium plugins require a valid license key. Each license specifies the number of sites it can be activated on. Licenses are non-transferable unless explicitly stated.
License Types
- Subscription: Valid for the subscription period. Renews automatically unless cancelled.
- Lifetime: Valid indefinitely for the licensed sites. Includes updates for life.
5. Payments and Refunds
Pricing
Prices are listed in USD and may change. Existing subscriptions retain their price until cancelled.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. To request a refund, contact support within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any illegal purpose
- Share or redistribute license keys
- Attempt to bypass license restrictions
- Interfere with or disrupt our services
- Reverse engineer our premium plugins (beyond GPL requirements)
7. Intellectual Property
Our plugins, documentation, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. The GPL license applies only to the plugin code, not to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that our plugins will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fodo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
10. Support
Free users have access to community support. Premium license holders receive priority support with faster response times. Support is provided via email and our help desk.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use premium features immediately ceases.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
